Kazakhstani boxers held semi-final fights at Asian Championship 2024 in Chiang Mai (Thailand)reports Sports.kz.
In the men's semi-finals, the Kazakhstan team was represented by ten athletes. Sanzhar Tashkenbai (48 kg), Makhmud Sabyrkhan (54 kg), Orazbek Askyulov (57 kg), Dulat Bekbauov (67 kg), Ablaikhan Zhusupov (71 kg), Dias Molzhigitov (75 kg), Erasyl Zhakpekov ( 80 kg), Bekzat Nurdauletov (86 kg), Sagyndyk Togambay (92 kg) and Aibek Oralbay (92+ kg). As a result, nine of them were able to make it to the finals. The only loser was Erasyl Zhakpekov, who completed his performance at the continental championship with a bronze medal.
