However, as scientists from University College London and the University of Sydney have found, even a few minutes of exercise a day can make a significant contribution to your health. The result of their research was published in Circulation.

What scientists have found out

The researchers analyzed data from 14,761 people. Each of them wore an activity tracker. Scientists wanted to identify the relationship between daily activity levels and blood pressure.

On average, over a 24-hour period, study participants slept about 7 hours, sat for 10 hours a day, stood for 3 hours, walked slowly for an hour, another hour…
