Preparations for the holidays have begun in Ukraine.

Christmas tree fairs have started in Kyiv, where you can buy the main attribute of Christmas and New Year holidays.

Big and small, fluffy and not so – a traditional New Year's fair was opened in one of the forestry enterprises in the Kyiv region.

“We do not cause any harm to the forest, because in our technological processes we need to thin out the plantations in order to form a healthy mature forest… And it is thanks to these trees that we can provide the population with Christmas trees,” says the head of the forest protection and protection department Oleksiy Kovalchuk, branch of Boryspil Forestry of SOE “Forests of Ukraine”.

Mainly pines are sold in this farm, because, says Oleksiy, they stand longer and have a richer smell.
