All the main ingredients of the traditional New Year's dish have risen in price over the year.
The Olivier salad, popular among Ukrainians, has increased in price over the year. This year we will have to spend 19% more on it than last year.
Analyst of the Ukrainian Club of Agricultural Business (UCAB) association Maxim Gopka, in a commentary to UNIAN, said that for a portion of Olivier salad you will have to spend 300 hryvnia compared to 252 hryvnia in 2023.
According to him, now 350 grams of boiled sausage costs on average 152 hryvnia, and last year its cost was 118 hryvnia. Thus, the price of sausage increased by about 29%.
On average, four eggs that year cost 24 hryvnia, and now the cost is 32 hryvnia, that is, the price increase was 33%.
