How much should you exercise daily to lose weight and maintain the result – Fitness

British specialists Imperial College London conducted a study and came to the conclusion that to significantly reduce body weight, waist circumference and body fat, 150 minutes of aerobic activity per week or 20-25 minutes per day are needed, Sports.kz reports with reference to Zakon.kz.

According to the journal JAMA Network Open, scientists analyzed data from 116 previously published clinical studies involving 6,880 overweight or obese adults. In all selected studies, volunteers completed various training programs for at least eight weeks.

According to the publication, regular moderate-to-high intensity aerobic training (up to 300 minutes per week) leads to a linear decrease in body weight and total body fat percentage. However, significant changes in body composition occur already at 150 minutes…
