As Viktor Lyashko emphasized, the key task of the Ministry of Health now is to determine the golden mean, so that people who should receive a disability group receive it within the deadline set by law.

For additional examination of the patient according to the new rules of receipt disability will be directed only once. It will not be necessary to be admitted to a hospital in order to be evaluated by doctors.

The Minister of Health Viktor Lyashko and his deputy Maria Karchevych said this in a comment to “RBK-Ukraine”.

It should be noted that in the past, many doctors required patients to be discharged from a hospital — often, in order to receive a disability group, it was necessary to stay in the hospital, and they often required that a person be treated in a hospital several times a year.
