How the Russian Federation is trying to capture Pokrovsk: a military explanation
The Russians are shelling the city and trying to surround it from the flanks.
Russia is transferring reserves to the southwest Pokrovskato bypass the city from the flank and cut off the logistics of the Armed Forces.
This was reported by the commander of the 24th OSHB “Aidar” Stanislav “Osman” Bunyatov.
“It is clear that the enemy will not storm Pokrovsk head-on. The enemy is shifting reserves to the southwest in order to bypass the city from the flank and cut off one of the city's main logistics routes,” he noted.
Bunyatov also noted that if the Russian army fulfills this task, it will try to enter the city, the most realistic scenario – from the side of Shevchenko settlement.
