First of all, a quality product has a characteristic smell. It is quite a pleasant aroma with a barely noticeable acidity.
However, if you cannot tell by the smell whether the product in front of you is of high quality, you should use another effective method.
It is necessary in advance prepare a small portion of opara with the yeast you are going to use for baking. As soon as the dough is ready, sprinkle it with a layer of flour and put it in a warm place until it rises. The result should be in 30 minutes.
Look at the flour on the steam – if it cracks, it means that the yeast is of high quality and you can take a larger amount of the product and prepare the dough for baking.
