Nutritionist Alexandra Stepanenko told SE how to eat ginger correctly, Sports.kz reports.
According to her, the marinated product is usually served with sushi and rolls, and is also used in marinades for meat and vegetables. Fresh ginger is often added to tea and various sauces. It is also used in baked goods, a variety of drinks including alcoholic drinks, and in Indian spices such as curry.
However, the expert warned that freshly chopped ginger root should not be subjected to prolonged heat treatment. For example, it should be added to tea for no more than three minutes.
When it comes to ground ginger, it needs to be added to dishes at different times to retain all its beneficial properties:
