General practitioner Elena Manovska told SE how to improve liver health, Sports.kz reports.
According to her, excessive amounts of sugar in the diet cause serious harm to the organ, so the doctor advises eating less foods and drinking less drinks high in sugar.
“Instead of completely denying yourself the foods you love, try simply cutting back on your portions,” the doctor said.
In addition, Manowska recommends exercising more. She claims that physical activity improves metabolism and the amount of fatty deposits in the liver decreases.
