Parents of successful adults gave advice to young parents.
70 parents whose children grew up to be successful share what they wish they had known while their children were growing up. They argue: if they had this knowledge then, they would focus less on what is not very important. Parenting expert Margo Macaull Bisnow spoke about this on the pages of cnbc.com.
Over 15 years, she says, she has interviewed many successful people and their parents to learn about their upbringings.
