How to remove deodorant stains

Experts told how to prevent the formation of such stains.

A clean, favorite shirt can make your whole day perfect and give you a feeling of confidence. However, items that are worn frequently may develop deodorant stains under the arms.

As experts point out on the marthastewart website, you can prevent them from appearing and get rid of them if you already have them.

Fabric care expert Kim Romine recommends trying to remove any remaining excess deodorant using a soft-bristled brush. Then rinse the clothing in warm water to remove the stain.

Pour detergent directly onto the fabric to cover the stain, scrub gently and leave for 20 minutes. After this, put the shirt in the washing machine. Leaving the detergent on the stain will clean the item better.
