Hungary will deploy air defense in the east of the country
Hungary is afraid of an escalation due to the permission of the US to strike deep into the Russian Federation.
Hungary decided to deploy air defense systems in the areas of the country that are closest to the border with Ukraine.
This was ordered by Hungarian Defense Minister Kristof Shalay-Bobrovnytskyi, Telex reports.
According to him, Hungary is afraid that the US permission to strike with American weapons deep into Russian territory could allegedly provoke Moscow. The politician decided to strengthen the eastern part of the country with the means of air defense, because the war in Ukraine “reached an unprecedented scale and entered the most dangerous phase.”
Shalai-Bobrovnytskyi recalled the Kremlin dictator Vladimir Putin's approval of the updated nuclear doctrine, which provides for the expansion of possible conditions for the use of nuclear weapons.
