Irishman Ian Machado Garry spoke out after the defeat to the undefeated Kazakhstani Shavkat Rakhmonov in the co-main event of the tournament UFC 310Sports.kz reports with reference to MMA.Metaratings.ru.
“I’m going to come back and beat this guy,” Garry said in his post-fight interview.
Rakhmonov fought his previous fight in December 2023 at UFC 296, defeating Stephen Thompson by submission in the second round. He has 19 wins and no losses.
Garry previously entered the Octagon in June 2024 at UFC 303, defeating Michael Page by unanimous decision. He has 15 wins and one loss.
