A law has come into force to improve the procedure for receiving, declaring and handling firearms.
Today the Law of Ukraine “On ensuring the participation of civilians in the defense of Ukraine” came into force regarding the improvement of the procedure for obtaining, declaring and handling firearms.
This was reported by the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine.
It is noted that it provides a legal basis for not holding a person accountable for storing weapons without the appropriate permit. At the same time, the mechanism for controlling the circulation of weapons has been strengthened, which is extremely important not only during martial law, but also in peacetime.
