In Russia, they are disposing of a rare aircraft for jamming the Il-76PP, a rather interesting and specific “monster” of Soviet design, which in theory should have been able to “jam” even American Patriot anti-aircraft missile systems (SAM), writes Defense Express.
It is noted that on the basis of this Il-76, the Russians tried to create an electronic warfare aircraft. Now the plane is being ingloriously disposed of on the territory of the former training airfield in the city of Irkutsk, the reason is that it is necessary to make room for construction.
