Head coach Kazakhstan national team Stanislav Cherchesov spoke about the incidents with Kazakh journalists that happened to him at press conferences, Sports.kz reports with reference to Sport24.ru.

One of Cherchesov’s most resonant press conferences in the Kazakh team was the one in which he interrupted a local journalist who addressed him in Kazakh: “Are you speaking French now?”

Subsequently, the coach was fined, and the Ministry of Tourism and Sports of Kazakhstan demanded that the Kazakhstan Football Federation carry out explanatory work with Cherchesov so that he would be more respectful of the state language.
