Over the past year, about half of Russians have increased their income (46%) and learned to set serious financial goals for themselves for a year or more (49%). These results were shown by the second measurement of the Financial Achievement Index – a study by the PSB Blastostoyaniya, aimed at assessing the financial literacy of Russians and their ability to effectively manage their personal budget. The residents of Voronezh, Moscow and Nizhny Novgorod became the most competent in these matters.
According to the Index results, Russians managed to significantly improve their well-being in 2024. For a third of respondents, their income increased within 10%, for every eighth – by 30%, 4% were able to increase their income by 50%, and 1% – doubled. In total, income in 2024 increased for 46% of Russians versus 38% in 2023. For another 42% of respondents, their well-being remained at last year’s level.
