In Boston, the frescoes of 20 angels in the Old North Church are being restored – Science and IT

In Boston, USA, restorers are working to restore frescoes depicting 20 angels that were hidden under layers of paint in the Old North Church.
This was reported by the New York Post.
These drawings, dating from 1730, became an important part of the temple, but in 1912 they were painted over with a thick layer of white paint. So far, the team of specialists has revealed 8 out of 20 angelic faces.
“People used to come to church and admire these angels,” says Emily Spence, associate director of education at Old North Illuminated.
Nowadays, restorers are restoring the authenticity of the unique frescoes. At the beginning of December, 8 of the 20 faces depicted on the walls were discovered.
