In the village of Kosenivka in the Cherkasy region, there are Ukrainians and Germans archaeologists discovered the ruins of a house with the remains of seven people, dated to 3700-3600 BC.
The results of the study were published in the journal PLOS One.
Experts believe that some of them could have been killed during the fire in this house. This was indicated by traces of burns and injuries on the bones of people who were representatives of the Trypil culture.
