In Fastov, a man died after being hit by a train on the railway tracks – Kyiv
A 48-year-old man fell under the wheels of an electric train.
On November 25, around 8:45 p.m., a tragic incident took place on the railway tracks in Fastov: a 48-year-old man fell under the wheels of an electric freight train traveling along the Kozyatyn-Myronivka route.
This was reported to the Kyiv police.
Despite the fact that the driver applied emergency braking and gave a sound signal, the accident could not be avoided. The victim died at the scene from his injuries.
The Fastiv police department of the Kyiv region has started a pre-trial investigation under Article 276, part 3 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine.
Law enforcement officers remind citizens that railway tracks are a zone of increased danger. It is important to be cautious, especially in the dark, and to wear reflective clothing for safety.
