In the Khmelnytskyi region, a man who evaded mobilization was sentenced to 6 years in prison.
This is stated in the verdict of Teofipol district court of Khmelnytskyi region.
According to the court, in April 2024, the man was found fit for mobilization. He was given a summons and had to come to the TCC to be sent to a military unit, but the resident of Khmelnytskyi avoided mobilization.
At the court, the man explained that he did not come to the TCC because the military promised to take him away, and he was unable to come to the Military Committee because “he had nothing to come to, because the buses are not running.” The resident of Khmelnytskyi no longer came to the TCC.
