In Kyiv, a scheme to embezzle funds for the disposal of tires was exposed – Kyiv

The disposal works were not carried out – the enterprise limited itself only to the removal of tires, but received more than 2.7 million hryvnias from the budget.

The Kyiv City Prosecutor's Office reported the suspicion to the organizer and four other persons, who are suspected of embezzling over 2.7 million hryvnias during the disposal of car tires.

The investigation established that in 2022, after the start of a full-scale war, the Kyiv city administration announced a tender for the removal, processing and disposal of tires from the streets of the capital. The expected cost of the works was 4 million hryvnias.

The organizer of the scheme is considered to be an entrepreneur from the Kyiv region, who involved two controlled enterprises, artificially creating the appearance of competition. As a result, one of these companies won the tender.
