Mykolaiv Church remains one of the symbols of Kyiv's architectural silhouette.
The Church of St. Nicholas, damaged on December 20 as a result of a Russian missile attack on Kyiv, is planned to be restored according to authentic drawings.
This was reported by the Ministry of Culture and Strategic Communications of Ukraine.
“To prevent further destruction of the building, temporary equipment is being installed that will help maintain the optimal temperature inside the building. These actions are aimed at protecting the facades and interior spaces from external influences while preparatory work continues for the continuation of the restoration,” the message says.
It is also planned to manufacture new glass elements of the central stained-glass composition, which was destroyed during enemy shelling.
