In Lviv, a daughter-in-law was convicted because she did not take her mother-in-law to the cemetery — Ukraine
The daughter-in-law claimed that the mother-in-law took offense at her and therefore called the police.
In Lviv, a woman was fined UAH 170 due to a conflict with her mother-in-law.
This is stated in the decision of the Railway District Court of Lviv.
According to the court, the daughter-in-law was tried because she insulted her mother-in-law in November 2024. In particular, she addressed her with “obscene abuse, as a result of which the victim's psychological health could be harmed, thereby committing an administrative offense provided for in Part 1 of Article 173-2 of the Criminal Procedure Code.”
At one of the court hearings, the daughter-in-law noted that she was innocent. She said that on November 3, she and her husband came from the cemetery. The mother-in-law took offense at the couple because they left without her and called the police.
