At the session of the Odesa City Council on December 4, the issue of the death of animals in the local zoo was raised, but the discussion turned into almost a farce.

Deputies invited Igor Belyakov, the director of the Odesa Zoo, to the session to explain why the zoo buys new animals and why those living in the zoo have already died.
