In Rome, the famous Trevi Fountain has been reopened to tourists: it is now operating with restrictions
The monument will now be able to be visited by no more than 400 people at a time.
In Rome, after a large-scale reconstruction, tourists have again opened access to the famous Trevi Fountain, one of the most visited attractions in the city. The three-month renovation of this 18th-century monument included the removal of dirt, grime and limescale.
True, as previously announced, now the number of people who will be able to visit it will be limited – no more than 400 people will be able to be near the fountain at the same time, writes The Washington Times.
For now, visitors will not have to pay an entrance fee, although introducing a fee is not ruled out in the future, Rome Mayor Roberto Gualtieri said on Sunday, December 22, 2024.
To cope with the huge amount…
