In Russia, the demand for felt felt has increased sharply

China, which is the main supplier of consumer goods and technology to Russia, reduced the volume of exports by 10.4% in annual terms.

Due to a significant reduction in the import of consumer goods, in particular, from China, Russia has a shortage of winter footwear. This year, the demand for felted felts increased by almost 20% compared to last year.

According to statistics, from January to November 2024, Russians spent 2.41 billion rubles on the purchase of felt – this is the maximum figure in the last three years.

Compared to 2022, the growth in demand for felted felt among Russians was 30.6%, and from 2021 – 56.6%.
