League Fighter ASA from Tajikistan Osimkhon Rakhmonov spoke in a conversation with Namys Fighting about his Kazakh namesake Shavkate Rakhmonovwho competes in the welterweight division UFCwrites Sports.kz.

On December 8, Shavkat competed in the co-main event of the UFC 310 tournament and defeated Irishman Ian Garry by unanimous decision after five rounds.

– Your last name is like our best fighter – Shavkat Rakhmonov. Did you watch his fight?
– Yes. What can I say? To quickly give him a “title”. We are waiting for a belt in Kazakhstan. I am sure that Shavkat will take this belt. A very good fighter. He also fought with our fighter Faridun Odilov,” Osimhon replied.
