In Tbilisi, thousands of people once again gathered in the main square.
The current president of Georgia, Salome Zurabishvili, said that she would not resign and called for new extraordinary parliamentary elections by December 29. That's when her term of office expires, and the Georgian Dream party plans to hold the inauguration of Mikheil Kavelashvili.
Zurabishvili said this while addressing a rally of thousands in Tbilisi.
