In Ternopil, a mother drowned her child in a bathtub, and jumped herself from the 5th floor
The girl was only 2.5 years old.
A woman born in 1992 fell from the fifth floor in Ternopil. The victim has multiple fractures. She is currently in intensive care.
This was reported to the regional police.
“According to the woman, she tried to end her life by suicide, because a few hours before, while bathing, she drowned her daughter, who is 2.5 years old, in the bathtub. When she realized that she had passed out, she tried to resuscitate her, but she could not,” – says notices of the department.
Based on this fact, the investigators opened criminal proceedings in accordance with Clause 2, Part 2 of Article 115 (intentional killing of a minor child) of the Criminal Code of Ukraine. The issue of the defendant's detention is being resolved in accordance with Art. 208 of the Criminal Procedure Code of Ukraine. The investigation is ongoing.
