On November 5, in the village of Chernaya Kholunitsa, a fire occurred in a private residential building near a large family. The family has seven children, the two eldest are studying in another region. At the time of the incident, four children were at home without adult supervision.
The eldest son noticed the smoke and promptly took the younger brothers and sisters outside. He also managed to save important documents and valuables.
As reported in the press center of the government of the Kirov region, the cause of the fire was a faulty electrical wiring, which led to a fire in one of the utility rooms. The house has a fire alarm, but it did not work because the fire was outside its coverage area.
