In the Kirov region, prices for butter are limited by special agreements

In a number of regions of Russia, agreements have been signed to curb prices for butter. The Izvestia newspaper writes about this, citing the press service of the Federal Antimonopoly Service.

As it became known, the Kirov region was included in the list of two dozen regions of the Russian Federation in which agreements on stabilizing prices for butter are in force. Agreements on product prices are established between the regional government and local retail chains.

Agreements on voluntary reduction or fixation of prices (markups) for butter were concluded as a result of the work of the territorial bodies of the FAS Russia with regional authorities and local entrepreneurs within the framework of Russian Government Resolution No. 662, the service said in a statement.
