In the Lviv region, pedestrians were run over by cars three times
The man died on the spot from his injuries.
A terrible accident occurred on the Lviv – Sambir – Uzhhorod highway.
This was reported to the police of the Lviv region.
As previously established by the law enforcement officers, the driver of the MAN TGA cargo van, a 42-year-old resident of Lviv Oblast, hit a pedestrian, a 36-year-old resident of Sambir district.
The impact threw the pedestrian into the oncoming lane, where he was hit by a Fiat Fiorino and a BMW 530D.
The man died at the scene from injuries received as a result of the accident.
Based on this fact, the investigators of the Department of Investigation of Crimes in the Field of Transport of the Lviv Oblast Police opened criminal proceedings under Part 2 of Article 286 (Violation of Traffic Safety Rules) of the Criminal Code of Ukraine.
