The administration of the Pizhansky municipal district reported the death of a local resident during the SVO. The information was published in the official community of the local mayor's office on VKontakte.

According to the authorities, on October 20, 2024, during a special military operation in Ukraine, our fellow countryman Sergei Leonidovich Ivanov was killed. He was from a village in Sotnikovo, Pizhansky district.

Farewell to the deceased will take place on December 7, at 10.00 o’clock at house 18 of the village of Sotnikovo. The administration and Duma of the Pizhansky municipal district express deep condolences to the family and friends of the deceased, the authorities said in a publication.
