American legislators tasked the director of national intelligence, the director of the Intelligence Directorate of the Ministry of Defense and the director of the General Intelligence Directorate to present a report assessing the course of the war in Ukraine in the context of possible consequences for the United States under certain scenarios.

Lawmakers also want the provision added to the National Defense Authorization Act for a vote in the House of Representatives.

The document was called “Assessment of the probable course of the war in Ukraine”.
