In Ukraine, there are ongoing lawsuits over embryos that were created thanks to reproductive technologies. After the death of the son, the father began to demand grandchildren from the daughter-in-law, and when she refused, they wanted to take the genetic material.

Anastasia and Oleksandr Kuzmenky were married for 5 years. They dreamed of children, but had to turn to reproductive specialists for help, they had 6 frozen embryos.
