According to an insider ESPNSalvador Rodrigueza fight for the WBC world middleweight title between its current owner, the Dominican Carlos Adames and a contender from Great Britain Hamza Shiraz will be officially announced very soon, Sports.kz reports.
The fight is expected to take place in February 2025 in Saudi Arabia. Earlier, Shiraz's promoter Frank Warren stated that his protégé would fight for the world title in February, but did not specify the name of the opponent.
Let us remind you that Hamza Shiraz was the mandatory challenger for the WBO/IBF middleweight world champion from Kazakhstan Zhanibek Alimkhanuly, but in the end his team decided to fight Carlos Adames.
