In Russia, exercises will be held in December to disconnect regions from the global Internet. Russian media reported this, citing a warning from the Central Bank of the Russian Federation.
The purpose of such actions is to check the readiness of the Russian infrastructure to provide access to all services in the event of “deliberate external influence.”
