“Interpipe” criticized the decision of the NCRECP to increase the electricity transmission tariff
The company considers the increase in tariffs as another attempt to transfer the problems of the energy industry to its consumers.
The industrial company “Interpipe”, which is one of the largest consumers of electricity in Ukraine, stated that the decision of the National Commission for State Regulation in the Energy and Utilities Sectors to increase the tariff of NEC “Ukrenergo” for the transmission of electricity by 29.8% from January 1, 2025 will lead to an increase in the cost of their products, a decrease in capacity utilization and a decrease in tax revenues to the budgets of all levels.
“We consider the new, 30% increase in the electricity transmission tariff as another attempt to transfer the problems of the energy industry to its consumers,” the company's press service said.
