Iran is probably preparing to receive Russian Su-35 fighter jets

In Iran, the infrastructure for Russian aircraft is being deployed, but the question of the timing of their delivery remains open.

A satellite image from Google Earth dated September 2024 has appeared on the Internet, which shows the construction of arched shelters at the 3rd tactical air base of the Iranian Air Force near the city of Hamadan.

“The size of these shelters is approximately 25 meters by 30 meters, which is clearly too much for the F-4 Phantom aircraft that are based there. Which, in turn, allows us to conclude that the Iranians are building shelters at this base just for the Russian Su-35S, all the more so because it fits in size,” the publication writes.
