As noted by the chairman of the public association “Belarusian Association of Doctors” Dmitry Shevtsov, such a pulse does not always indicate heart problems.

— If since childhood you have had a pulse of 50–60 beats per minute, no pathology has been detected, you feel great, there is no reason to worry. Imagine, in swimmers, skiers and track and field athletes, the heart beats quite rarely in a calm state, up to 40 beats per minute,” he explained.
