Is it possible for civilians to wear military uniform?
According to the lawyer, changes need to be made to the legislation.
The presence of military uniforms on civilians can cause outrage among current and former military personnel. However, this is not prohibited by law.
Lawyer Tatyana Kozachenko spoke about this on air on the Kiev24 channel.
“Currently there is no description in the legislation of what a military uniform is. If you wear a T-shirt with a pixel or camouflage, it is not a military uniform,” she shared.
The lawyer noted that the liability provided for by the law on administrative offenses is provided only if the military uniform has identification marks – chevrons and shoulder straps.
