According to the expert, one should not think that Russian dishes cannot be combined with anything other than vodka. Wines, still and sparkling, can also be served with traditional snacks.
Pickles open up interestingly when paired with sparkling wine, so don’t be afraid to put an assortment of lightly salted cucumbers and other vegetables on the table. Jellied meat is somewhat reminiscent of riet, so it will be an excellent complement to champagne and white wines.
