Is Putin ready to share Oreshnik with Lukashenko – UNIAN
An agreement on “security guarantees” between the Russian Federation and Belarus, a “single market” for electricity, “removal of contradictions” in the tax and customs spheres are common words that were heard today at the meeting between Putin and Lukashenko.
In reality, it can be stated that the “cooling down” tactics before the 2025 election campaign gave the effect the Kremlin needed.
In an effort to hold “problem-free elections,” Lukashenko began to give up positions on which he had previously held out long and hard.
Moscow is in a hurry to tie Minsk to itself as much as possible, realizing that:
