Vitaly Stepanovsky's team lost to Israel for the second time in a week.

National basketball team of Ukraine was defeated by the team Israel in the match of the fourth round of qualification for the 2025 European Championship. The match at Arena Riga in the capital of Latvia ended with a score 88:75 in favor of the “blue-yellow” opponent.

Vitaly Stepanovsky's wards had a great first half of the game and went into the break with a score of 40:29 in their favor. However, in the second half of the meeting, the Israelis made a comeback (59:35) and eventually won.

Let's note that the national team of Ukraine lost to Israel for the second time in a week in the selection for EuroBasket-2025. In the first match between these teams, which took place on November 23 also in Riga, our team was defeated with a score of 73:86.
