The capital of Japan will host the Grand Slam, which will bring together many stars of this sport. Kazakh athletes will also compete for medals and rating points.

To date, judokas from 47 countries have entered the tournament. The list of participants included 286 athletes who will represent five continents in Tokyo. The coaching staff of the Kazakhstan team has not yet officially announced the composition, however, the preliminary list presented by the International Federation includes 11 Kazakh judokas.
