According to the standard, the normal body temperature is considered to be 36.6˚С. However, this is no longer the norm. Today, doctors have expanded the range of limits from 35.5 to 37.2 ˚С. It will depend on a person's gender and place of residence. For example, in women, two weeks before the menstrual cycle, the temperature can drop to 36.2-36.5˚С.
What is the normal temperature in the armpit:
- in babies – 36.8˚С;
- in children under 3 years old – 37.4˚С;
- in children under 6 years old – 37.0˚C;
- in people under 65 years old – 36.8-36.9˚C;
- in people older than 65 years – 36.3˚С.
At a temperature of 29.5 °C, people faint, and at a temperature below 26.5 °C, they die.
