New rules for passenger travel by rail in 2024

Millions of people travel around the country, whether it be vacationing at resorts, visiting relatives or business trips. To ensure the comfort and safety of passengers, railway companies introduced a number of new rules in 2023, which will continue to apply in 2024.

One of the key innovations is the regulation of the use of lower shelves in carriages. Now each passenger must occupy strictly his own seat, however, there are special time intervals when the use of the lower shelves by all passengers is allowed.
