Youth national football team of Ukraine (U-21) drew with Italy in a friendly match that took place in La Spezia. The meeting ended with a score 2:2.
In the 26th minute of the match, the home team opened the score with the efforts of Giovanni Fabbiano. Two minutes later, the “blue-yellows” fought back – Ilya Kvasnytsia hit an accurate low kick into the far corner.
Before the break, “Squadra Azurra” took the lead again – Francesco Esposito scored in the 45th minute.
However, in the second half, the Ukrainians managed to break the tie – in the 83rd minute, Ihor Krasnopir, who came on as a substitute just a few minutes before, scored a life-saving goal.
